Abstract: This research focused on solving the students’ difficulties in understanding meaning and finding information from a text. The objective of this was to recognize improvement student’s participation student reading performance teaching comprehension through REAP technique. design used Classroom Action Research (CAR). data collected using; observation, interviews, tests, documentation. findings showed there an ability comprehend involvement learning activities improved as well. Most students gave positive response teaching-learning process. It could be concluded that technique useful at one state senior high school. became active began think critically. can alternative medium specifically for comprehension.
